dragging parts in arrange seems painfully slow

while audio is playing - sometimes I will sit and wait about 10 seconds before I can see the part I'm trying to drag.

Usully I have to stop audio

It never used to be this way

Yes, this is currently a serious issue in Live. See here and cast a vote here.
