not a bug!! but yes is as painful as a bug!!

If we dont have a dedicated bus track and we have to create a bus track!!
that actualy is cool the routing option..... what is anoying is the fact that we can not "SOLO" the bus track!! we we mix o work we need to monitor only the bus track!!! so at least shoul be an option on the bus track we create to be able to "solo" the track!!
Thanks!!

Yes Yes Yes FIX IT-FIXIT
I completely agree. There really should be a way to Solo a Bus track. Infact, it dosn't make any sense that when you solo it, you don't hear any of the stuff routed to it.
I think there should also be an option in the preferences so you can choose whether or not you can Solo multiple tracks at a time, because I understand that Solo toggeling can be important for playing out live, but for a DAW it justt dosn't make any sense to be only be able to solo one track at a time.
And have to shift click all the tracks just to hear them is just plain annoying.
Who's with me on this?

audiovoid,

But this already exists with the 'Exclusive' switch for 'Solo' in the 'Misc' section of the Live preferences. Or do you mean something else?I think there should also be an option in the preferences so you can choose whether or not you can Solo multiple tracks at a time, because I understand that Solo toggeling can be important for playing out live, but for a DAW it justt dosn't make any sense to be only be able to solo one track at a time.

hi alex,
the problem is, I think, that when you soslo your 'bus track' the other tracks don't output anymore. Both output to the master and the Bus from the non-soloed tracks are silenced.
Idealy, when you solo your bus, all the tracks that in some way route to the bus, must still output, but only to the bus. Not to the master.

that is the point, it's a pain in the arse - not how it should work at all...mike holiday wrote:you have to select "solo in place", then pre send, then turn the volume down on the source track and you will be soloing your bus track..
combersome but works
I've requested this a few times (the bus solo thing)
