anybody ever "downgrade" OSX??
(10.4-10.3)
I found a digi 002r and after intaslling it (former 001 user)
and upgrading to tiger i'v discoverd that this thing performs far worse then the 001 i was useing (core audio driver for 002 uses %20 cpu on my system, up from 9% w/001)
the 001 only works in 10.3 so i'm going to have to go back down to get the performance i'm used to
ugg...It's hard to believe how much worse an "upgraded" product works

i'v been doing some searches
it seems as though i'm going to have to trash all the OSX applications as they don't intsall again when you "downgrade" so some apps will have combatabilaty issues
I think a duel-boot system would be a little redundent as any time that computer is turned on sound is coming out of it...so it'll always be on 10.3
just don't want to spend more time then i need to trying to boot the thing after i do the switch..
thanks
