Help !! Live not Rendering!

Hey all, im having issues with live not rendering, its really driving me insane. Everytime i got set my locaters from start to end for an 8min track i want render , all of a sudden Live stops in the process and says " a serious program error has occoured.You should try and save your work under a different name using the Save as Command from the File menu and restart application" , at this point i have to " alt deleted and cntrl" to shut live down ...then i got to reopen and it asks me is i would " like to recover my work?" then from there im running in circles agian, ive rebooted my computer twice and still getting the same thing,, I dont understand my project was working fine 30 mins .. any suggestions please?!

Hi,

1. try to trash the file preferences.cfg, it may work to be able to reopen Live and your project fine. It will rescan your vst folder etc....
2. If you're able to listen to your track, you should use "resample" and record it to a new audio track in session, as a workaround until the render gets better.

I believe those render probs are plugin related, I'm sure some vsts would need a new version or something but I'm only assuming.

I have the same problem (occured after the daylight issue). One time Live stops as described by twistedfusion, the other time windows just resets! But rendering was okay at third or fourth trial (and a change of bit-/sampling rate)...problem seems to occur randomly...strange.

Plugins used: Reaktor, Live plugins

Win2K, SP2, AMD 1.800+

already sent ableton the complete files on cd 2 weeks ago, but no answer other than promises....
