Listen to one of my tunes?
Greetings. I just wanted to post one of the tracks I've made with this amazing program I've grown to love. Feel free to critique my crap or whatever. I'm still a newb, so I'm all ears. Thanks.

Change the thread title please.
We know what happened the last time a thread with a similar heading was posted.
It's cool you've gone legit and all (yes seriously) but do we need to know your past exploits on the companies user forum ?
I'm not calling you a troll but the nature of the thread title is pretty much baiting a nasty reply in hindsight of previous posts made in threads with similar titles.
So we'd love to listen too your tunes mate
.
I'd just make the thread title more ON TOPIC and a bit less inflamatory myself.

Nice chill out vibe with a slight jazzy feel too the beats.
I like the intro alot but it sounds like you've used beats mode (warping) on the guitar sample (it sounds a bit warbly artifacty if you get my drift).
Nice brush/snare sound you have in there and some very nice touches with the beats themselves I might add.
Infact the rythm work is pretty cool on secomd listen
Seems to be lacking any discernable bassline on these speakers though I love the change at around the 2:10 - 2:15 mark and the way it flows out to the finish/track end.
How long have you been using LIVE/doing electronic music for ?
If it's one of your first efforts with LIVE I'm impressed.
Keep it up because there's some great ideas happening here IMHO.

Boy, there are a lot good thing going for this track.. I love the drum line particularly the filtered crunchy stuff. At least on my system there is some eq-ing that needs to happen. In particular a bass rolloff, in other words there's a bit too much bass. I think at around 2:15 or 2:30 there is some nice experimentation between the guitar and synth, but check for frequency overlap there. Nice work. Be happy and keep at it.

Thanks for listening to my stuff guys. I've been using Live since July. I started with a Live Lite cd that came with my radium 61 and the rest is history, I'm hooked. The drums were programed in reason and the rest is samples I've taken from my vinyl collection and my crappy guitar playing chopped up. I'll post more in the near future.
Thank you all for the constructive criticsm and next time I warp the guitar, I'll keep it off of beat mode. Thanks for the heads up guys. I appreciate it.
