project crashes after every alt/command-tab to/from Live

When I have a huge project open, and I command-tab to a different app, and then command-tab back to Live, it usually crashes. This is probably due to memory allocation shuffling (i only have 1GB RAM). anyway is this the case?

I've never had that problem and I'm running OSX 10.4.3 and Live5.0.2 on a G4 powerbook

I only have 556 ram. so your problem lies elsewhere.

well Live disables itself somehow when you alt-tab out (all the clips turn grey) then when coming back to Live, it crashes when trying to "reload" or reactivate the clips. i do have over 500 clips there though.
