Keyboard assingments gone AWOL

Ive set a template up so my left hand can use assigned keys for various tasks, but every now and then they stop working. Even a set that started with the said template does it, and when i hit the KEY assignment button in Live, it shows the buttons there as they are assigned??
Even the space bar which is automatically a play/stop button stops responding!
If i reboot though, the assignments which didnt work in said set are back and working again?
Anyone else??

One issue i do notice with key assignments is you cannot use more than 2 keys simultaneously. I have tried it with soloing tracks, triggering clips etc. Once the 3rd key comes into play, one of the 3 will not work.

random features related to key commands and interface control are broken in 5.02, or strangely intermittent:

- scroll wheel stops functioning soon after startup, no discernable trigger

- click/hold/TAB no longer works to copy clips to arrangement

- occasionally CTRL-C to copy does not copy clip

there were others that i came acrost while trying to work that i dont recall offhand

I might be wrong here but couldn't this just be down to a hardware, ie: the keyboard, limitation? IIRC 'standard' keyboards can only send out a very limited number of simultaneous key depressions.

That could very well be the case, however, i have used Trollo and MIDI Key Hook where multiple keystrokes were handled efficiently. I wonder if there is a difference in utilizing an app that turns your keyboard into a MIDI controller versus simple keyboard commands in reference to limitations (if they are limitations and not some bug).

I've also had problems when hitting more than two keys at a time, so I don't think it is a hardware issue.

Have you checked that keyboard mode is still off when it stops working?
