2.0.3 - Save as self-contained bug (?)

Post by Pheek » Mon Mar 24, 2003 5:07 pm

Hi,

I just faced a problem and want to know if anyone else got that. I use my desktop to produce my live and then save "as self-contained" to put it all on my laptop. Now, once I copied all the files to it, a serie of really weird things started to happen:

1- I press the play button for the first scene and I got the warning pop-up message "This will stop the audio, continue anyway?" It was the first time I saw this message appear in this situation. It usually appear when I press the "edit" button of a sample.

2- Then below, for all samples that I had looped parts of it (ex. looped part 1 to 1.3 of my hihats sample), those samples now had pure noise into it (randomly placed, just to make sure you get a heart attack when you dont expect this noise to happen and your monitors are playing loud).

I tried re-exporting it and it did the same thing. I also tried to load my set from my friends laptop but he faced the same bugs. Although we didn't had time to reproduce the problem from his laptop.

Also, I really have latency problems ever since version 2.0.1...
