People, people, people -- my situation.
Why is it so annoying that the little arrow on Delta version 2.5 does not work the same in version 4.0? What I notice is that in Delta version 2.5, as well as what I believe in version 3.0, there is the ability to click sections of the grid, which would allow the user to jump quickly to each section of a song. However, this same feature is not in version 4.0, which only allows a user to either drag that arrow or to double click the area above the grid (the area with the square box), in order to then shrink the grid; which then requires one to (smh) drag the arrow (double smh).
I don't know how far into the Ableton versions this goes, but I do know I prefer this particular feature in Delta version 2.5 (and, as I said earlier -- what I believe is in version 3.0 -- cannot recall). Anyway, has anyone else had the pleasure of coming to find this 4.0 feature a bitch?
Also, I bought my version of Live from none other than . . ."the bay" (yes --you know the one), and I found there is a problem: what I was sent when I received this 3.0 version is a key to unlock it that I later found Ableton would not allow me to use. In other words, it's an illegal one. Is there anything that I could do about that, just in case I really wished to use the 3.0 again? Just thought I'd ask, as I need whatever sympathy possible for being had (currently displaying a sad sucker sniff, sniff look). Thanks.

only thing you can do about the ebay problem is contact ebay about your problem. they are very protective of their customers. me and my girlfriend both have had issues with sellers on there and ebay always got our back pretty fast.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
Yo, Johnisfaster, thanks for your reply.
When I think about it, I am not so sure about turning things around now, It's been a while since I first got that version after all. Long enough for it to -- well, go out of style. I mean, we're on (what?) 5.0 now. Nah, this wasn't a recent purchase. It's just something I wondered whether could be handled after such a lengthy period, being as though I was expecting more than I got. Of course, this was only after I realized I was caught up. Besides, I do have the version 4.0 now; only, I prefer 2.5 and 3.0. -- just looked to find that 3.0 does in fact have the same feature I was referring to earlier.

I found it! I found it!
Guess what you all. I found out what I was initially trying to find out for so long -- that there is a speed arrow feature in version 4.0. Yaaay! What I did was looked at the demo vesion 5.0 that I have and noted that there was a speedy arrow there too, as I mentioned there is also this feature in versions 2.5 and 3.0. Anyway, what I did was to dig just a little deeper and found that by pressing the control key with the left mouse button I am then able to move the arrow speedily, as in the other 3 Ableton versions I've tried. Man, am I happy. Thanks anyway, cause I was really flaking out about that, and would possibly have sold my 4.0 to go back to 3.0 (or go ahead and make a purchase for 5.0 without needing to) had I not checked more thoroughly. I am just that impressed by that feature alone.
