I have noticed that when one assigns a midi key to the play button in Live's transport, the play start time is inconsistent. Sometimes play starts as one would expect (with the depressing of the midi key note on point), sometimes many milliseconds (maybe 50 ms) later.
This makes it very difficult to start Live's playback accurately when using a midi key (in my case from a footcontroller) as a playback button.
Using iBook, 500 MHz, OS 9.2.2.
