i was wondering if any of you could help me out with the following questions.
1. i have see the previous posts on the bcf2000 and looked into the lc xmu. it looks great and it supports all the platforms i use. including live, reason, logic and cubase. i have had problems down loading the demo version and getting it to install. i dont mind paying the $40 but i wanted to 1. see if any of u got it working and 2 if you could post a step by step for it (cheeky).
2. i have a emu board x but im from the mouse generation so never really got into the midi dumping thing and general midi communication. the problem i am having is i want to control the simpler parameters from my keyboard to do my programming. i assign everything from the midi function in ableton and store my presets on the emu. when i create another simpler i have to do it all again. ideally i want to have a global template for my simpler and impulse so when i load up i can have my freq, reas, adsr and lfo all set and ready to go (simpler). i plan to do this with all my apps so i spend less time on the mouse and more time at the keyboard. is there away of sending midi info back to ableton when i create a new simpler so it automatically assigns my controls from the saved preset.
3. if any of you have suggestions for the above configs on the mentioned platforms that would be great.
