So far I've been a completely soft synth/midi outfit. I had an MBox but hated protools right from the off so I've done with it and sold it. I just got an echo audiofire 8 and I've spent the last 2 hours researching why it is I'm not getting any sound from my synth into LIVE (5.0.1 on an Imac G5). I've been through my live manual, the live tutorial and the pdf file that came with my interface.
So far I've checked the connections to my kurz synth (which is also my midi controller for now) checked the different in's on the echo as well as the echo computer console that is telling me I'm not imagining sound going into 1/2 inputs.
I reset the audio preferences in LIVE and ... nothing. I tried messing with the audio to configuration. The auto and the in monitor. I must be some kinda dumb people but I'm too frustrated to keep my pride.. HELP Please.
