BCF2000

Post by André » Mon Jan 02, 2006 2:42 pm

Hi,
I´m new to Behringer´s BCF2000. Can anyone tell me how to get a bcf2000 mackie emulation for Live 5, please?
Thank you very much
Andre

strange, there seems to be standard behringer support for mackie emulation on the bcf, but not on the bcr. not really consistant for that line of products.

Thanx people,
Vip 32 : That´s great for The BCR, but mine is BCF and that thread seems to be only about it...
Lo-Fi : Im aware of that PDF on Behringer´s site. But there´s no mention to an exclusive emulation for Live (would it be the Baby Hui´s one?)
I´m already using it with Logic 5 on a PC and it´s a dream come true.
So , still haven´t found what i´m looking for (remenber the song?ehehe)

Damn, we must be getting old... under the yoshua tree!

BCF: Just put it in into Mackie Control Mode Cubase (by pressing the second upper key while powering on) and then open live and setup your control surface within the midi/sync-tab. Chose "Mackie Control" and select both in and output your BCF2000. Thats all.

As an addition you may also use huskervu as an emlutation for the missing Mackie display.

grfld,
thank you. I´ve got the BC View, this other one I´ve never heard of.
Could you tell me how to get it and what advantages does it have?

You'll find huservu here, also try a search here. There also a some posts about it.

The big advantages are:
- it's more stable than BCFview, e.g. doesn't crash if the application sends bad Sysex.
- You may choose any Font and size for display
- Free change of window size
- Optional transparent window

Disadvantage:
- You need the DOT.NET Framework installed. If don't, this is a additional 23 MB download.

If you don't have problems with BCFview just use that (works fine for me) don't install more Microsoft crap if you don't have to.

Is a thread on how all the commands work for Live in Mackie/Cubase mode with templates and a PDF overview.
