Trance Producers - Where would you go next with this track?

Post by Anarogue » Mon Jan 09, 2006 1:37 am

Hey, if there are any trance producers out there, where they go after this point in the track below. I'm thinking a quick breakdown and then into a big climax going into another larger breakdown then going to the final climax, and then ending with a breakdown.

Production notes always welcome. I know there are some volume, mixing, and eq issues.

Thanks.

hey its ok

yes lots of EQ issues

the bass is taking over the whole low end, put a high pass filter on it ... u dont need to let the bass be the entire sub range, the kick will do some of the hard work for you.

i'd take the hats down a tiny bit, and bring up the main strings.

as for progression, you need to go to a pretty melody that complements the main strings, and then build back up from there into the big strings and melody. KISS .. Keep It Simple Stupid

listen to some tracks you like. write down the structure of tracks. this way you will have templates to work from to use as a basic form and to modify for your own sound. this way you can focus on the sound ratrher than the structure, your time will be spent better this way. you could have templates ready to go with different structures. this is hoe live orginizes clips and tracks so use it to your advantage.
