can microtonic pattern transfer automatically as midi notes?

Post by xenomachino » Sun Jan 22, 2006 1:10 am

I am fairly new to live and want to know if it's possible to transfer a pattern you've created in Microtonic drum vst directly to a clip of live without having to enter every single midi note. I know there has to be a way, can anyone please tell me how. THis is a problem i've run into with audiorealism basseline and otheres. Please help 8O

you can export patterns from the sequencer to MIDI a midi file, then drag the midi file into Live from the LIve browser. the command is in the browser

better imo to create your pattern in the seqencer, then record the output into Live as an audio loop, then work with the audio

yes, you just create another midi track and set the input of it to the track microtonic is on then choose microtonic in the menu under that one and record enable as you would record normally

I do it all the time
