allocating RAMM for LIve 5 on a Power OS Tiger

Post by generictwin » Fri Jan 27, 2006 9:48 pm

Hi, I am inquiring about how to go about giving more of my RAM to Live 5.

You see i recently ersaed my powerbook and re installed everything and I noticed that when using several MIDI tracks, it maxes out, stuttering playback horriibly, a lot easier then before. I have 1.5 gb and had not had this problem so much before.

Does anyone know how to make Live 5 run more smoothly and/or give it a larger percentage of RAM? :?:

Well this won't give you more RAM, but it will give you more CPU cycles!

If you have 1.5GB of RAM, Live will be getting plenty of RAM. Did you just upgrade to Tiger from Panther? What interface are you using?[/url]
