The noob has a very nooblike ? about overwarping with DnB

ok so i work exclusively with DnB for mixing within ableton and as the question topic states i am very new to ableton.

Most of the time when i auto warp something all i have to do is manually move maybe one or two parts and its in perfect sync to the overall bpm. everyonce in awhile though i get some songs that have about a million yellow warp markers and the song plays out of tempo no matter if i halftime, doubletime it or go through and try to set the markers manually. im guessing this prob has been encountered millions of times but searching the forums hasnt really produced anything for me so far. im hoping that there is something i can do so that i dont have to go through and manually warp every point on the track seeing as how i have about 15-25 tracks out of my entire library that do this. if anyone could link me to another post that could help me out with this or even just tell me on this post what to do i would be forever grateful

btw i dunno what it has to do with it but this warping problem usually happens on atmospheric and liquid DnB but very rarely with the wabbly stuff or the harder stuff???

Well, I guess Live has problems with tunes that don't use a fixed time signature. DnB usually goes in 4/4 on the larger scale, but might very well use 8th notes triplets (hope that is the correct term?) over several bars until it resolves into 4/4 again. That might cause problems.

It might also be that your atmospheric and liquid stuff has less pronounced beats than other types. Without pronounced beats, Live doesn't have transients to identify and thus can't auto warp correctly.

The issue seems to be intermitten, so it just happens whenever...

If you use the "Controll-click" contextual menue when clicking on the first warp marker, a few warp choices will appear. The one that says "Warp straight from here will be a good bet, then just slide the marker to the correct ppostition. Because elecrtronic Music is a perfect tempo, you should only need 1 warp marker on the first downbeat. if you recorded the song from vinyl, the table tempo may drift slighty, which will cause you to need more than one marker (Because the tempo will drift)
