ibook and oxygen8 keyboard....

I have got a ibook and a oxygen 8 keyboard,
but I cant play any samples, or set any contollers. whats my probem???
is it a oms problem? :cry:

Yes it is a problem concerning OMS if you are using Mac OS 9.x. I suggest you download the Keystation Drivers from Midiman's website, sometimes the drivers included with the hardware is not up to date. After downloading these drivers run OMS setup, restart. This should fix the problem.

same thing happened to me.. it involves the drivers that the oxygen came with... best thing to do is forget about the disk.. go online and download the new drivers for it... on midiman.com ... you will have to download the latest version of OMS first... install it... then get the driver/installation program for the keystation(its not called oxygen 8 in the drivers downloads).. after ... run oms setup and it should find the keystation keyboard(youll see a red ? on it, dont worry about it) ... you should be ok afterwards...
when you run ableton live.. be sure you go into your prefrences and select the midi input as keystation... for some reason, mine showed two.. the second one worked for me
