weird rendering error

Post by prodaea » Tue Feb 14, 2006 5:56 am

i just finished an arrangement. it is half audio half midi and runs about a 30% cpu load on my 2ghz/1gb ram lappy. i'm using an ASIO driver into my CA Extigy MIDI card (don't laugh). the song is 161.1.1 long at 155bpm with 7 tracks total.

when i render to wave it gets to 26% then gives me this error:
a serious program error has occurred. you should try to save your work under a new name using the save as command from the file menu and restart the application.
i click ok and it pops up again. i think i clicked for five minutes straight, gave up then held down enter. it kept popping up so i just ctrl+alt+del'd it and it closed immediately.

any help would be appreciated. i suspect a corrupt audio somewhere. but i really don't want to redo the whole thing. if you would like a self-contained, contact me i will upload it for you.

thanks

*edit* i did what the error message told me to do a bunch of time as well... to no avail.
... there's something down there... i can't see it.

i think it must have been an error with the midi's or something because i went back and froze those tracks and it rendered no problemo. i'd like to hear if this happens to anyone else tho.
