I need some help deciding on an audio interface to purchase.
I basically need it for connecting my lone hardware synth to my iMac G5 to be sequenced in live. It needs to have an output that allows me to monitor my mix in the headphones, as well as have another dedicated monitor out. might also be doing some light recording with this as well.
Should I be looking for a firewire or USB unit? I dont have a whole lot to spend so I'm just looking for what suits me best. thanks in advance for the help.
