can't see any plugins

Post by dpkni1 » Sun Feb 26, 2006 1:46 am

Hey,

I downloaded the latest beta of Live 5 onto a new Intel Mac and when I attempt to set up the plug-ins folders, I cant see any except the 'Apple' folder.

I have Imposcar, Albino, GURU and MrRay73 installed (Au and Vst's), yet Live doesn't show them in the 'Plug-Ins' tab. I followed the instructions in the manual...to no result.

Anyone have an idea what may be wrong here?

I'm new to Macs, so I have a feeling I may be missing something......?

That because nobe of them have been converted too Universal Binary yet buddy .......... sorry but they aren't going to show up at all until your beloved VST/Au companies do the appropriate Universal Binary converts.

PS: If you don't believe me download the universal binary versions of Crystal and Automat and stick em in your AU / VSTi folders just so you know what I'm talking about.
