Live 5 session opening file in demo mode?

I'm working on a live 5 session that was done originally in 4, then in 5.0.1 (on a friends machine) and I'm working in 5.0.3 but the session file I got back from me friend to work on won't open on my machine, it defaults to the demo mode any ideas how I can get it working? i originally sent him a live 4 session and he sent me back a 5.0.1 session, when I upgraded to 5 (5.0.3) any help would be mucho appreciated,..Thanks.

just checked the diference between his machine and mine and he has operator installed while i don't I think thats where the problem is coming from, this is really annoying I didn't buy operator because i don't like it now I get the feeling not only can i not uninstall it but I can't use a piece of my own work over it....not impressed.

If Operator is enabled in preferences and you didnt buy a license for it, Live will go to demo mode, just switch it of in preferences.
