Tube preamp plugin

This was just released and looks kinda interesting in a hit or miss sorta way. Could be just another tube simulator, though. http://www.mcrow.net/Preamp%20Emulator%20VST.htm

Anyone try it yet? I may have to download the demo tonight. It would be nice to get some decent (and cheap) tube preamp simulator plugs to help along the so so preamps that many of us use either from our mixer of audio interface. Line 6 just relased some technology on this, but it is hardware based.
1.7 Pentium M IBM Thinkpad with XP Pro SP2; MOTU 828mkII; Trigger Finger; Live 5; Reason 3.0; lots of soft synths and plugs; Guitar Rig 2; Motif 7; Nord Lead 2; PRS McCarty, Fender, Am std Strat; Larrivee D-03; a bunch of outboard gear; and cheap wine.
