need help w/ trigger finger and ableton

i just purchased ableton and trigger finger and oxygen 8. i cant seem to get sound from my trigger to ableton, specifically drums. i can get the trigger to make any sounds other then drums. i dont know how to set the drum channel (if i need to at all) on the trigger. i dont know how to fix this! i am getting midi signal, i see the midi meter showing signal but no sound. this is for drums only. i am knew to production software and i have spent many hours trying to figure this out. someone please help

Hello there,

I had a problem with my trigger finger when i first used it. It kept forgetting which note assignments where on which pad.
If you susspect your problem is like that. then here's what I did.
insert the cd that comes with the trigger finger. Open up enigma.
I think on the right hand column you can select from a drop down menu 'notes' then all you do is drag c3 onto the bottom left pad. and continue up the scale C3, D3, E3..etc. I think the last pad (top right) will be D5...
You then select from a drop down menu on the top bar...'update trigger finger' this will then load it all on...and you should be able to trigger some phat beats...
Just to reiterate the impulse plugin uses the bottom 8 pads...ie C3 upwards...
