You can do the following.jon slimak wrote:anybody know of a good one?

A) drop the clip in arranger view and cut the indiviual tracks from the set.
Consolidate each one and save.
B)Download AUDACITY which is a very good freeware audio editor and set it up as you designated audio editor in LIVE.
Option B is probably the best one as it can double as a true audio editing tool.
Once the Editor is set in LIVE as the default when ever a clip envelop is open just left click the EDIT button and the .wav/aiff etc will open up directly in Audacity for editing and can be save back to the same Live folder without closing LIVE.
You can also do some rather funky things like RAW DATA file import into Audacity.
Timestretch / cut / copy / paste / merge / crossfade / insert / create volume fades and curves etc etc.
I used to use Adobe Auditon but sold it and now use Audacity instead.
More than covers my needs IMHO.
