drag'n'drop into simpler/impulse

Post by pix » Mon Mar 06, 2006 11:01 pm

this would turn things much simpler than constantly having to go through the project audio folder.

Plus it'd be neat to split a waveform in the arrangement viw and drag it directly into impulse.

don't know if this has been suggested yet, but it seems like the best implementation for simpler and impulse. It'd become a much more intuitive sampler.

you can do both of those things - have you actually tried?

in arrange you dont even have to split it up you just zoom it so it's big enough to see the bit you want and then select the bit you want and drag it to the impulse slot - you will have to hover it over the track the impulse is on before the impulse becomes visible as the track your clip is on will have been selected

i've tried this a couple of times but I couldn't make it work. It's perfect this way.

Thanks for the help. I can see the light now....
