(Unintentionally) strange audio effects / M-Audio Ozone

Post by earthboundboy » Wed Mar 08, 2006 1:30 pm

Hi

I have been learning my way round Live and recently was trying some warping on whole tracks. The program is working fine and then suddenly the audio sounds garbled and distorted. It stops if I restart the program, or if I change the soundcard settings in the Live control panel away from ASIO on the M-Audio Ozone and to something different.

Having read a number of moans about M-Audio stuff on here the finger of suspicion is pointed in that direction at the moment, but it is pretty frustrating to say the least and I'd like to be able to eliminate Ableton from the enquiries.

I should point out that this just occurs randomly - not just when warping and not as a result of any change I have made to the project that is sitting there on the screen.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Sten
