Hey there,
I use Live quite a bit. While I'm not a musician, I use live for all different kinds of scoring needs the I encouter as a theatrical Sound Designer.
I know there's a few others here in SD, they might not monitor the forum with much scrutiny though...

I live in the far Eastern reaches of SD; almost to the El Cajon city line.
Been using Live since version 2. Started in '94 or so with 100% MIDI until computers got really powerful enough to through around audio with a quickness...
Before Live, the thing that excited me the most since MIDI was Reason...still occasionally rewire em both together.
(PS If you're stuck on something in Live and need a hand, drop a message, and I'll help if I can...)

What's up
I have been using live off and on since version 3 just for fun. It would be cool to see local SD users using it in performance. If anyone from SD is using it for shows let me know I'd like to come check it out.

I just moved to San Diego from Atlanta and I'm looking for some local folks to collaborate with and produce tracks. Lately I've been into some Underworld-style tech-house and some chilled-out but groovy downtempo. I also make Drum and Bass, breaks, Latin music, etc....anything with a good beat and bassline.
So...if you're in San Diego and want to bust out some crazy tracks, drop me a line:

What else do you use for making your music. I play guitar and bass and don't konw much about midi but would like to get into making beats in LIVE to play guitar and bass to. I like the latest from fujiya & Miyagi, have you heard it. I'd like do do stuff like that since I don't shred on the guitar. They seem to do little guitar and bass loops with their stuff. Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks! and welcome to SD how do you like it so far?
