Copy / paste / move SLOWNESS

Post by elemental » Tue Mar 14, 2006 10:09 pm

Yet again I come here to express my frustration

trying to finish a tune, and this problem is KILLING ME!!!

And we still dont have a reason???

Why oh why oh why
do I have to wait with gritted teeth for almost a minute at times just to copy or move a clip???????????

Sorry
Its just driving me insane at the moment. And making it take 10 times longer to finish a tune.

ah cool.
I thought I was the only one who suffered from slowness now.
A recent beta, can't remember which, I gave up beta testing, is so slow, I didn't suffer from it much before, but something happened for me, when most people said it worked well for them from then on

have you you checked out the 5.2 betas yet?

i noticed the sluggishness was gone in the betas.

that's what I mean, it's worse than ever for me, it was acceptable for me before, but not on these betas, very strange

I have not tried the betas yet. Will do tho...
Tend to avoid using betas when nearing finishing a track, as the debug code adds a bit to the cpu consumption.

thanks
