internal soundcard latency f**k!

hi!

i've recently sold my firewire interface so i have to use my powerbooks internal soundcard.
it works great when i preform but if i'll try to record something with the input the computor feels like glue combined with the worst kind of mudd.

can someone please help me to configure ableton right ?

when i have money i problably by a echo indigo i/o btw
