removing all warp markers from a clip

Post by secretagentgel » Wed Mar 22, 2006 1:42 pm

i'm dragging in whole songs, and ableton is creating 40 warp markings. i want to create my own. how do i import a clip, with warp mode enabled, but keep live from creating it's own markers?

thanks,

right click on one of the little markers and choose 'warp from here - straight'
If you never want the autowarpin - turn it off in preferences.
"auto warp long samples" under defaults or somewhere like that

Another good thing to know is that if you select the last warp marker (furthest right) you can just hold down delete and watch all the warp markers get deleted. It is very fast and comes in handy here and there.

Or select one marker than do a control + a (select all) and hit the delete key

viola - no more warp markers (bling)
