need help dragging from arrange to session (newbie)

Hi guys! Just got Ableton. It rocks!

How can I drag a block of audio to the session view? I select it so that it is yellow and highlighted; however; it does not move when I then attempt to drag it over.

Any keystrokes I am missing?

Welcome!

Click and hold, and drag and drop it onto the session (bottom) or arrangement (top) icon.

Or, click on it, copy, tab to change views, and paste.

THanks! I have been completely, frustratingly unable to click and drag.

I am not a new comuter user. Not a programmer or anything, but hell, I can code some HTML in a pinch. Don't see why I cannot f-ing CLICK AND DRAG.

What am I doing wrong?

By the way the copy and paste thing works.
