Using a laptop live

Hi guys,

Anybody know if any measures need to be taken if your using a laptop running Live 5 to DJ in a venue to prevent ground loops ect?

nothing special i would imagine just keep it away from liquids obviouly and make sure your system is 100& before you play. Its also a good idea to have your set backed up on another drive or cd if it will fit and take replacement cables and an assortment of adaptors. What you dont think you will need will be exactly what you will need (probably)

Bring some plastic tape that you can tape on your ground connection prongs if you get ground loop hum. There are also special ground lift connectors (from eg Radio Shack), but I guess they just do the same thing.
