Sytem Memory Question

I'm running Live 5 and often when I'm playing one track and attempt to start another I get this fraction of a second delay. My computer has a Athlon XP overclocked to about 1.8 ghz, 512mb of DDR333 memory, 2 7200rpm seagate drives (80 and 120 gigs). Is this issue related to me not having enough system memory? My CPU meter rarely goes above 45-50%. Any help would be much appreciated!

i'm not really clear on exactly what your problem is, maybe you could explain it in a bit more detail.

the global quantization settings will effect how clips are launched. so if you had it set to a very low setting (1/16, 1/8??) you might miss the "1" and the clip would launch "late"
