RenderingRecording problem

I have posted this on the general forum but had no intrest so I thought I'd give it a go here....

I have done a live house mix and recorded it into Live 5.0.2.

The mix has successfully been captured on one of the Audio channels the problems start after this, when I have tried to Render To Disc the following has happened...

1. The rendering takes place but no sound/wave form is in the file
2. When Live finally performs a successful Render the file starts in the middle of the mix and then plays to(about 30mins) then silence for a few minutes then starts at the start where it was supposed to.
I thought I could just rearrange/cut and paste the file but there's a section missing.

Whats going on with Live?

I have specified the correct length in bars to be rendered.
I have got the Audio channel and file highlighted before Rendering.

Any thoughts
