Im having great trouble improvising with Live since it is so dependent on keyboard shortcuts and mouse movements. what I would like, is for ableton to implement something like a realtime loop recorder. I want to be able to just by holding down a footswitch, arm a track and record the input, and the by releasing the switch, Live would automatically stop recording, stretch the clip to fit the tempo and play back the recently recorded clip. And then perhaps with another footswitch I would like to delete the clip if it came out wrong, and record a new one. This way I would not have to pendle between my keyboard and laptop so much.
Maybe this functionality can be obtained somehow already, but it seems like the [del] and [Enter] keys have to be MIDI mappable, and they dont seem to be so.
