I´ve got one for two days now and am not quite sure what to think about it (didn´t use it yet).

The space for the keyboard is a little bit too large, I think, at least five centimeters to the left/right and upper side so it slides around when moving the bag. I´d like it more, if it fitted neatly into it.
The other pocket has a strange size, too. Maybe it´s made for a Laptop? Imo they had better made another pocket were a/some 19" device/s fitted in (in fact there´s still enough space in the main pocket, but I didn´t really try that, ´cause I didn´t want to have scratches on the keyboard ´cause I have to send it back, but that´s another story :x ).
On the other hand I really like the rucksack-style, you still can have a bag over the shoulder and carry loads of extra gear.

...

I just tried the extra bag and must say the Novation thing is kind of bulky.

My conclusion: if you only need your computer + interface + Novation SL this bag is a fine thing, if you need mor gear...

...

No, I think, I like it. It has a good capacity if you can stuff it without mercy. And I will see with the extra bags...

If this retour thing (the other story) is fast enough and if you are patient enough I can give you first hand travel experience on april 16th.

I use mine to gig with and the compartments are a good size for the keyboard, laptop and audiophile with enough spare space for leads etc. it's quite well padded but it is soft so if you want crush-proof i'd suggest getting an aluminium camera case.

Personally I cart my gear around enough that I don't like my cases to have logos or telltale signs that there is expensive gear inside. That it just advertising for theft. I like to stick with custom made cases and suitcases. I guess is you added some duct tape to it I might use it.

I could never understand the barneys that walk around with bags that say "laptop computer bag" or something like that.

to djmuzz: the suckers sent me a demo, you know, a model that is in the shop for everyone to touch. I wouldn´t have minded but the joystick feels quite used.
Now that I´ve seen this I´m not gonna order a new one...

Seriously... that's why I always slapped tons of obnoxious stickers on my snowboards.

I've been using a carry on luggage suitcase, it works but it's a bit more bulky than I'd like to use. I think the backpack version for my SL25 could stay with me wherever I may roam. Tough to say, thieves are everywhere.

True that. I just like to take the precaution. I have matching sets of old fake leather luggage for my moog, mpc, and remote sl. The lappy and traveler go in a standard looking backpack that has been padded. Then I stand over the pile with a cup half filled with change and ramble on about the war and the price of KrispyKremes. People leave me and my stuff alone.
