I'm a nube with a frustrating problem

:? OKAY! So I am using this program to throwdown some simple guitar tracks and I can't seem to find how to save my work onto my hardrive in Wav. format. When I try it looks as if it has worked and shows up in my saved file but will not play on any multimedia player on my computer. This is my first night of using it and it's angering me, I hope it's just my lack of knowledge of the program!!!

All .wavs are not created equal, there's bit depth and sample rate issues. In Live you can set this in the Options -> Preference -> Audio (sample rate) and Options -> Preference -> Default (Bit depth)

Check the other apps and adjust accordingly, or check the preferences of a file that does work and set Live to match it.

I don't know if bouncing tracks after changing the setting would make a new file format, might work...

You are doing a "Render to disc", right?
