fixing bad timing on layers

Post by tony g » Sat Apr 08, 2006 7:24 pm

i have 2 tracks that are the same thing just doubled, well they're suppose to be anyway but the timing in the performance leaves a bit to be desired.if it was my performance i'd just redo the tracks but it's not.i was wondering if there is a way to warp the 2 tracks to sinc up perfectly.the problem is i guess i'd need to see the warp view for both tracks at the same time to do this (i think).to complicate matters, they are both vocal tracks.

find the start of the sample (same sample twice)
hit 'warp from here straight'on both of them in the same place
to to the end, set loop marker X the same on both

Basically you just need to identify the start and end points, with a STRAIGHT warp the markers will be evenly spaced out.
