I had a go at this. I couldnt find a way to do it directly for each track so what I done was this:

1) Set up Bomes midi translator.
2) Assign a key map to your Alberton template that includes play clip.

So say track 1 has play clip set to Z:

3) Set up the translator to output Z TAB TAB DELETE

This will delete the clip that was set to play with the key Z

Why not Z DELETE I hear you ask?

Well I tried that and found that playing a clip via midi/keystroke doesnt always highlight the clip in Alberton, sometimes it choses to highlight the track!. So if the track is selected you end up deleting the whole track - not good.

I found that pressing TAB TAB cases the last clip played to highlight in Alberton everytime.

You can see what I mean by pressing play on a clip in Track one and then selecting Track two - so now no clips are highlighted. Now when you press tab tab you'll see that the clip you played in track one is highlighted again.

When you use Bohm translator, it allocates the unit and makes it inaccesible in Live. So when i want to route a footswitch from a bcr2000 to control my delete for example, the bcr2000 cannot be used in Live while at the same time being routed through Bohms translator. How do you guys get around this?
