it would be great to have Live record CC data with higher resolution.
For those that use plugs like DFH superior or BFD they often use a HH control pedal to perform the open and closed hihats sending CC4 data.
as it stands now, it looks like Live averages this data so, on play back the CC4 info sent to the plug from live after recording is some what less accurate than what was played.
it also seems that live does not include the CC data in the delay compenstaion.
I have to test a bit more to confirm this but, maybe one of the Ableton's can speak on this issue.
maybe a cool feature would be to allow the user to choose the resolution at which the CC dat will be recorded. eg: 128,256,512,1024 times per measure.
Those settings would also act as a way to thin the data as it's recorded if need be.
