Third parts Midi filter in a track of LIve

Hi,
Someone know if is it possible to put a third part midi plug (a midi filter, for
elaborate CC message, or every type of midi devices) in a track of Live. I tried
many times without result. Every midi plug I try to put in side is sow by Live like an
instruments and I’m not able to put an instruments in the second slot of the chain. If I
use two track one with the midi plug and the other with the instruments the first track
don’t give any output.

Any idea what can I do to put a midi filter in series with an instruments?
