what am i doing wrong?

i've had no problems at all w/ ableton before now.all of a sudden when i try to render i get nothing...no audio at all.i'm trying to use drum loops that i have on an external drive & they play fine ,just wont render?could the external drive have something to do w/ it?super confused here if anyone can help i'd very much appreciate it.

- Are you routing your output to an external output rather than the main channel?
- Did you make sure the "back to arrangement" button (the one between "OVR" and the Bar buttons) is clicked?

i do not know, i had rendered mixes before and had it play at the beginning and then go to nothing for about 40 minutes then have audio pop back up at the end of the mix.. i posted that same question twice and no one knew.

i had it also often;
but always a routing (solo-ing or something else) mistake of myself...
check that your master has output...

I have the same problem. How do you check that your "master has output"?
