I'm having problems with the Midi setup on my desktop that i've never had before.
The 002r shows up twice in midi setup, one of them shows one port available and the other shows no ports.
I'm trying to setup a Behringer FCB 1010 and the midi lights blink on the 002r interface which tells me it's receiving midi signal from the 1010,right?
The 1010 is working properly because it controls my Line 6 pod fine.
Now in Live's Prefs. the 002r shows up and the one port shows as available.
However Live is not showing midi activity in the status lights on the upper right meter.
I double checked on my Powerbook's audio/midi setup and the 002r shows as having 2 ports.
What the hell is going on here??...and more importantly can anyone suggest a fix?
I've already reinstalled Pro Tools thinking that some of the midi control files got deleted accidently but that didn't help.
If any of you mac midi guru's have suggestion i'd really appreciate the help.
By the way all of my other midi controllers are working fine, keep in mind those are usb midi(trigger finger,oxy8).......
It's got to be something with digidesigns midi files i'm thinking......
Anyone got any ideas on this one
Since Posting in the general forum i've done quite a bit of troubleshooting to no avail.
I've;
Trashed all related prefs. including Digi's,ableton's and Mac's
Trashed the OSX Audio Setup file from Digi
Redownloaded and reinstalled a fresh Coreaudio 6.9
Repaired permissions,restarted
I'm pretty sure the problem stems from the Digi audio setup.
It REFUSES to let me ADD SUPPORTED APPS.!!
Dear Abes PLEASE come with a solution or workaround,i'm in exile here.....
