Well, I've had a few discussions with folks here, 95% nice, 5% not so nice. But, after talking shit for at least a couple of years as a registered user (and longer as a non-registered user), I've finally decided to put up or shut up... So, without further ado, here's the music:

Input welcome. I'll be honest, since Live 5, I've been doing a lot more improvisational stuff and I haven't put any of that up yet, this is all my Cubase, Reason, and Live 1,2,3 (and in some cases 4) music.

New stuff should be online in the next couple o' months.

Thanks. That track was 100% reason, rewired into Live. Reason did the beats, the bass, the lead, everything except the horns which were sequenced as samples in Live. I can't remember which version though, I think it was Live 2, but it could have been 3. Mastering was the PSP vintage warmer.

Anyways, my point is this; don't let anybody tell you that this software (and the Propellerhead's offerings) are just "toys".

Otherwise the "secret agent" will come and getcha!

I know what you mean, the sound of all these "beginner apps" sucks (like the crap sound quality of Live)

A mate produces everything in Fruity, he can get shit together very fast, FL´s workflow is a lot better as Live´s arrangement.
I want to stay with Live, but I´ve my problems to get a whole song together in session, I always end up with a lot of soundesign and routings, but it usually stays a big sketch, I find it difficult to get a flow into my music.

Just listening to "Sorry, Got Compay" is great too.

Thanks again. It was the first track I ever wrote with reason - it was just an experiment. I rewired it to Cubase and mastered it there. Anyways, the main hook was a Dr Rex preset, and that Rx2 was then later included with Recycle 1.0 as the default file that opens. Imagine my shock when every owner of Recycle opens up their prog and the first damn thing they hear is my hook.

That was a lesson to me - never again use a preset (without savage editing / effecting).

Not quite. I'm a Winnipeg native, living in Ottawa, but I used to live in Montreal.

I guess I should clarify that darn profile!

Anyways, glad to hear you liked that track - it's one of my more popular ones.
