After having waied for AGES I finally got my xone 3d. After an very non-intuitive installation, where I had to install a version of Live Lite that I didn't want, I finally got things working. Audio was fine and sounded great but the scroll wheels and the Scene Control and Global Quantisation knobs just send the program haywire. It is as if they carry on working after being used. The nudge function keeps sending the cue point all over the place long after I let go (not just seconds but minutes). This is all using the official MIDI map supplied by Ableton and Allen & Heath.
This really sucks as you can imagine, and makes it impossible to use. I want to play with my new toy and I dont like traktor!

Xone 3d knob problems
To answer my own problem:
I had sync ON under active devices. Turning it OFF seems to have cured the problem, but the knobs are not very precise. It is very hard and fiddly to select exactly the scene you want quickly (too sensetive). I cannot imagine it being very reliable in a gig situation.
Any tips?
