Hello Bannoped,

You should try to download and install Quicktime Player, that will install a proper codec to decode your Mp3s.

Here is a link to download Quicktime Standalone, without Itunes:

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html

Kind regards,

i am experiencing the same problem.

i already have quicktime 7.1.2 installed.

re-downloading did not solve the problem.

any further suggestions?

just solved my own problem:

1) i have a strange setup; i'm surprised it works, really...........
i have a folder named "mp3 bag" with aliases (shortcuts, for you Windows people) to the original mp3s... note: the .asd files reside with the original files, not the shortcuts....

2) the original mp3s have since been moved

3) i deleted the aliases from the "mp3 bag" folder, and then re-added them

4) fixed!

note: having an mp3 bag with shortcuts is a nice way to organize your mp3s on-the-fly, just as you would throw records from your crates upon crates into a record bag for a particular set, before you leave the house :D
