It's a few of them actually.
1. Dimension Pro (I use this in everything at the moment)
2. Reason 3.0 Combinators rewired
3. Reaktor 5 (but only a handful of ensembles at best)
4. Kubik
Also worth a mention are Impulse / Simpler and Ugo's String Theory and Texture.

My aren't the wings of butterflies beautiful and do they not make wonderful perturbations.....
1) Mr. Ray - sounds as good as the EVP73, and it's donation-ware
2) Reaktor 5, particularly Tritium, 3X, Acoustring, BeatLookup and some custom patches.
EDIT: 3) Operator!!! Boing!

i couldn't live without...
1. impOSCar
2. Wusikstation (is that pushing the definition too far?)
i'd struggle without...
3. Tau Pro
4. Operator (what's not to love?)
as for Machinate's vote for Mr.ray - i reckon Mr.Tramp is better (but then i prefer the wurly sound) but yes, it's pretty good. Worth paying money for, in fact.

i disagree, it doesnt quite have the same 'chunk' to it, but it does sound good.Machinate wrote:1) Mr. Ray - sounds as good as the EVP73, and it's donation-ware

however, there is an issue with it making a crazy high pitched feedback sound. there have been a few conversations on here concerning this very thing. i finally just got rid of it, cause it would never function correctly. i do use mr donald, the leslie sim, quite a bit though.

the one thing I could never dig about the EVP73 is the awful sound of the tines when releasing the key. Urgh. Sounded like a bad kalimba sample.j0shu@ wrote:i disagree, it doesnt quite have the same 'chunk' to it, but it does sound good.Machinate wrote:1) Mr. Ray - sounds as good as the EVP73, and it's donation-ware

i always throw a ruby tube across it, and it just seems to sound and feel natural to me. mr ray and mr tramp are the only other ep vstis ive messed with, but im more than happy with the evp73.
i also seem to use the tweakbench tapeworm mellotron plug in a lot. the flute patch sounds grrreat!`
