BUG - clicks in Audiofile after consolidate, anyone confirm?

Post by kaufi » Tue May 16, 2006 1:04 pm

insert an Audiofile (30sec long or more [which is always sounding, maybe a Synth]) in a project which was not recorded with Live (so LIve don't know the tempo of the file). turn Warp to "off" -> consolidate the file -> play the file and you can hear somtimes little clicks. or lower the tempo of the project maybe to 96bpm (NOT of the Audiofile, because warp is off) before consolidation

my equipment:
AMD 3800xp, 2GB Ram, RME Multiface - no probs with Nuendo

preferences in Live:

Samples: high quality - 24 Bit

can anyone confirm?

I just got this one myself.

Take any audio file. Chop it up in arrangement view. Re-arrange the newly created pieces as desired. It plays fine.

Now select all the piecies and consolidate the whole lot. Oh dear... faint clicks at random times throughout the new clip.

WinXP SP2, 3GHz Prescott, 1MB Ram
