live as rewire slave..NO VSTI ENABLE?

running cubase and live rewire slave and no vsti available to play a midi file within live 5, why?

When Live is in Rewire - mode, it can't use third party vst / au plugins.

A nasty shortcoming of Live , which , i hope will be implemented in a future version.

this is not a shortcoming in live it's a shortcoming in rewire in general, no rewire slave can run vst's that I know of. rewire apparently needs to be reworked.

i have a feeling that rewired clients with vst instruments would
cause latency nightmares.
